They sound great, but obviously they’re not for everyone. And you can’t exactly lug one to your local open mic night, either. That’s because besides those 88 keys there are a whole lot of internal components and outer housing. There’s nothing inherently wrong with acoustic pianos, but not everyone has one. There are eighty-eight keys on a piano and within that, an entire universe. If you have an acoustic piano, you are guaranteed to have 88 keys.
